About ACES
Incorporated on 1 June 2009 and launched officially on 18 March 2010, Asian Culture Enterprise (Singapore) Limited (ACES) is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Old Parliament House Limited, a not-for profit enterprise committed to enriching lives through arts and cultural initiative.
ACES is governed by its Chairman Dr. Richard Helfer and its Board of Directors made up of Mr. Robert Tomlin, Mr. Vincent Howe, Ms. Poh Mui Hoon, Mr. Colin Goh, and is supported by a management team led by Lyndon Yeo.
The company was formed with the intention of serving as a cultural and creative intermediary within Asia and aims to be a resource and agent of change in the realm of international exchange of the arts, culture and heritage industries through:
Aggregation of current knowledge on contemporary practices, trends, policies, personalities, relevant agencies and network; creation of new works in the arts that will be incubated and developed in Singapore or that will have, for its artistic or managerial catalyst, a Singaporean talent as inspiration; and facilitation of exchange between artists from Asia and the rest of the world.
Since its inception, ACES oversees three major initiatives:Spotlight Singapore, Asia on the Edge and Causeway Exchange.
