Membership Eligibility and Fee
Membership is available to individuals and organisations involved in the arts, culture and heritage industry or have a strong interest and passion for the arts. Membership is also available to socially responsible corporations who seek to develop their CSR programs. Free premium memberships may be given but to the discretion of the owners of SPACES (“Website”), Asian Culture Enterprise (S) Ltd (“ACES”, “We”).
Membership Cancellation
ACES reserves the right to cancel any premium membership and revoke all benefits for reasons that include, but are not limited to: 1) violation of these Terms and Conditions; 2) misrepresentation of any information or any misuse of the benefits; 3) violation of any national, state or local law or regulation in connection with the use of membership privileges; 4) commission of fraud or abuse involving the benefits given; 5) action, in any other way, to the detriment of the membership program or any of its alliances; all as may be determined by ACES in its sole discretion.
Changes in Terms and Conditions
ACES reserves the right to change, limit, modify the Terms and Conditions, benefits, conditions of participation, in whole or part at any time, upon notification given. You will be bound by any such changes.
Notice of Changes
Any such changes will be shown in these Terms and Conditions on the Website and will be effective immediately unless stated otherwise. A notice that a change has been made will be placed on the Website for a reasonable period of time. Any changes to any printed version of the Terms and Conditions will be contained in the next reprinting of that printed version. ACES will attempt to notify members of changes, but will not be liable for failure to do so, and all members will nevertheless be bound.
Data Privacy
You accept and explicitly authorise that the personal information you supplied in the course of enrollment as a member (i) shall be processed by ACES, in its capacity of data controller; (ii) will not be transferred to any third parties; (iii) may need to contact you for marketing purposes by mail, fax, telephone or email. If you wish to be excluded from such mailings, you will need to contact aces@spaces.org.sg and ask to be removed from our mailing list.
Content License Agreement
The following is an agreement between You, as a member of SPACES, and the owners of SPACES, ACES, which governs the use of information, data, reports, graphics (“Content”) of Website. By downloading or using any Content, You agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement, without any other conditions or declarations. If You do not agree with these terms, You may not download or use any Content from our Website.
All Content on the Website is copyrighted and they are the property of ACES, unless otherwise stated. All rights are reserved unless otherwise granted to You. Your rights to use the Content are subject to this agreement and any other restrictions specified respectively. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice, which forms part of these terms and conditions.
We hereby grant to You, as a member of SPACES, a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Content on the terms and conditions explained in this Agreement.
You may use the Content
• For discussion, commentary, presentations, news reporting, research, teaching or scholarship,
subjected to proper citation and credit given to ACES.
You may NOT use the Content
• For pornographic, unlawful or other immoral purposes, for spreading hate or discrimination,
or to defame or victimise other people, societies, cultures.
• In a way that will reflect negatively on ACES.
• As part of a trademark, service mark, logo, or sale product.
• SELLING AND REDISTRIBUTION OF CONTENT (OR ANY PART THEREOF) IS STRICTLY
FORBIDDEN.
Always ask permission from the ACES if you want to use the Content
• In any form that You intend to sell or distribute.
• You may create a link to this Website from another website or document for the purpose of
discussion. For other purposes, prior written consent from Asian Culture Enterprise (S) Ltd’s
is needed.
