Asia on Stage presents Dragon Tales

An Asian musical culmination of regional efforts

Asia On Stage Pte Ltd (AOS) is a consultancy, management and production company specialising in the creation, production and marketing of Asian Musicals and Theatre productions. Formed by a group of Asian investors from Malaysian, Singapore, and Indonesia, AOS’s primary vision is to commission a series of Asian productions/musicals and develop them into a business entity so that it can be produced, distributed, performed and marketed in the Asian markets. In due course, AOS aspires to develop Asian products that are to be enjoyed by audiences globally.

AOS is proud to have commissioned its first musical production – DragonTales, which originated from a 1996 animated cartoon series aired in Hong Kong. Based on a story and characters by Michael Chow, and directed by Singapore's talent, Jeremiah Choy, Dragon Tales features a journey of a young man, who through his alter-ego - a young impatient dragon, seeks his rightful claim to the dragon throne after battling evil and digging deep within to find belief in himself.

Together with music by Pilipino composer, Vincent A.DeJesus, and casts from both Singapore and the Philippines, DragonTales was successfully staged in Manila from 26 November 2010 to 5 December 2010. AOS aims to tour the production around Asian cities including Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
